Tours - Sightseeing

During this tour we will take you to the district of Kazimierz, which has become the artistic centre of Krakow filled with stylish cafés. It is full of buildings which witnessed the shocking history of Holocaust and a place where before World War II, the Jewish culture had flourished for centuries. It is also an area where Steven Spielbergs Oscar winner was set. Then, we continue to the district of Podgórze to see Schindler's factory and the surviving remnants of the second World War ghetto.

The tour involves:

Kazimierz: Wolnica Square, former Jewish district with synagogues, old meat market
Podgórze district - former main ghetto square, leftovers of the ghetto wall, Oscar Schindler's factory
1/2 hour coffee break to discuss the rebirth of the Jewish quarter
fun legends and customs
